Weddings & Engagements
Let’s face it, weddings are changing. Even before COVID-19 there was a trend toward smaller and more intimate ceremonies, but the virus has taken this to a whole new level. We’re seeing more and more boutique style microweddings, elopements, sequel weddings, or even a new kind of ceremony that The Knot is calling a “minimony.”
I photographed this in-home microwedding in 2019. The bride’s brother was the officiant and afterwards we all shared some of her mom’s incredible lasagna. It was simply beautiful…
The desire to capture images of these moments remains strong, but the photographic needs have also shifted a bit. This is where I come in. If you are engaged (congratulations, BTW!) and find that you’re looking for more candid or documentary style of photography that captures your guests, the emotions, and special details of the day in a more intimate and natural way — rather than overly posed or staged shots with lots of equipment — then I may have just thing thing for you!
Please see my COVID-19 page to learn about additional steps I am taking to keep everyone safe.
Capturing images for engagement announcements, wedding websites, invitations, and just to share the story of your love can be a lot of fun. Even more importantly, they allow you time and space to get to know your photographer and even feel more comfortable in front of the camera.
If you are interested to learn more or to talk about different configurations of the packages mentioned above please feel free to reach out. I would be honored to play such an important role in your special day. Feel free to contact me using the form below!
