My name is Sarah and I am a photographer based in beautiful Bloomington, IN. I am also a musician, arts advocate, and a devoted wife and mother. I love to travel, meet new people, and wax philosophical over steaming cups of coffee (or tea). I enjoy hiking, being near water, singing and writing music, reading, and capturing snapshots of my life, the people, and the world around me.

In 2006 I earned a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where I’ve also worked for more than a decade. In May 2020 I also completed a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from the IU O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, where I studied various facets of non-profit administration (programming, curation, audience development, financial management, etc.) through the lens of the arts.
While I don’t perform much anymore, I remain dedicated to music and the arts, arts education, creativity, and supporting those who do creative work. Producing images that capture the special moments of a wedding day, documenting milestones and special moments through portraiture and family photography, and working with artists and entrepreneurs to bring their visual identity to life brings me so much joy.
I’d love to work with you! Just reach out. I promise we’ll have fun…
